Johnny Knoxville Fires Mangers
Friday 1st June, 2001
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Management group Handprint Entertainment may be good enough for Jennifer Lopez, Angie Harmon and Nicole Kidman, but "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville has had enough.

According to
Variety, Knoxville has decided that he will no longer be requiring the the firm's services. It is as yet unknown why he's unhappy, but he and his MTV show have been under fire from Senator Joseph Lieberman in the past several months for supposedly inspiring impressionable teenagers to copy his risky stunts.

Knoxville may be looking to branch out from his signature role. He will be appearing as a 2-headed alien in "Men In Black II" as well as starring in 20th Century Fox's "The Ringer." However, he dropped out of the film version of "The Rockford Files" in which he was originally slated to take the lead.
