The Jackals in the West were hunted down till there was none left, yet the Jackals in the East were untouched.
The Jackal God Anubis thought that the Eastern Jackals would be fine, since the Eastern creatures were far too primitive to defeat the Jackals in battle.
After a few thousand years, the Jackals were large in numbers. They were setting out to invade the West coast when bad news arrived. The Humans had arrived on the coast and started attacking Jackal homes. Anubis decided that the Jackals would need some help, so he made the Half-Jackal. They were not much use though.
