The Life of Jack Robinson

The Life and Works from Jack

A Tribute to Elmer

To me Elmer was more like a brother, than an in-law.
few are perfect, but I could find no flaw.
He taught me all the auto mechanics I knew.
He would be there when I never had a clue.

As a husband, a father, grandfather and son,
he may have been equaled, but never outdone.
He seemed never to tire, when others needed help.
He would jump right in, with never a yelp.

Elmer was devoted to his daughters and wife.
I believe they had a pretty good life.
When he first married, jobs were hard to find.
He managed to find something when he made his mind.

Elmer I know God meant a lot to you.
After nearly ninety five years your rest is due.
You, Clara and Betty will have met again.
You will move free and walk with no pain.

Many will miss you and Probably shed some tears.
I am sure I will, as  I have known you for many years.
The tears will be for us, as you will be happy with God.
Someday we will join you, when we are given the nod.
