The Life of Jack Robinson

The Life and Works from Jack

Procrastinating

A short time ago I wrote a Poem “You Must Begin”.
I thought there was sound advice within.
Sometimes when I have an onus task ahead,
I have good intentions, but prefer to stay in bed.

Perhaps I would rather go out and have some fun,
when there is some work that should be done.
After all when I am ready it will still be there.
No elf will do it, it’s my cross to bear,

I am sure to complete the job, I must begin.
I will someday I will really dig in.
It seems to me if it has needed done for while.
Then there is no hurry, I will put it in my file.

Tomorrow is soon enough to make a start.
After all I have other things on my cart.
I don’t believe I should procrastinate.
But is there any of these thing can’t wait.
