The Life of Jack Robinson

The Life and Works from Jack

Is It True?

I had a person tell me an unbelievable story.
He knew it to be true, in all its glory.
When ask if he witnessed it with his own eyes,
“No” he said “But my source, never tells lies”.

These stories usually degrade someone or an institution.
I think they should check facts, before making their contribution.
True, there are a few sinners under nearly every steeple.
For one or two, Don’t judge all the people.

You can find good people any where you look.
Also bad ones who don’t go by the book.
I believe the good outnumber the bad.
If they didn’t it would be very sad.

When someone tells you a demeaning tale,
leave it set and let it get stale.
Rather than hurt someone; instead,
Would it not be better to let it go unsaid?
