Thank You
I had a birthday last week and I must say.
Family and friends made it a great day.
All the cards and greetings made me feel you care.
I even felt the warmth of those who couldn’t be there.
As for the poets you who reached into your talent.
The extra effort should
make you feel quite gallant.
When you started you may have felt a little queasy.
When you finished you probably felt it quite easy.
I wish to thank each for their part.
and this thank you comes from the bottom of my heart.
