The Life of Jack Robinson

The Life and Works from Jack

Diet

The topic of Diet came up, It seemed we all agree,

To gain weight is as easy as can be.

To lose weight can be difficult but obtainable.

But those lost pounds are really quite regainable.

I have heard it is easier to get thin than to stay.

Since I have never gotten thin I really cant say.

I have a pair of trousers in the closet, I can’t wear.

They are tight around the middle, and everywhere.

Some day I will lose enough they will fit.

When I try hard I can lose a little bit.

When I am successful I celebrate by eating candy.

I blame stores that make it so handy.

I watch my diet and not eat too much Junk.

In spite of this my belt has shrunk.

Wearing those trousers, may be a long way off.

Dieters who succeed, to you, my hat I will doff.
