Meet Jack Daniels & Gypsy. Jack was born Sept. 1992. He is now 11 years old. His size is considered a "tweenie". He loves to hunt, sniffing adventures, sleep, play ball, eat the fish I catch while fishing, truck rides,HOT DOGS! and warm sheets. He does not like cats, mean dogs, baths, teeth brushing, cold sheets and having to potty in deep snow or during a rain storm. I had the pleasure of meeting Jack's breeder. Her name is Lynda, she lives in Chinook MT. We have developed a great friendship. I send Lynda pictures & newspaper clippings of Jacks life. I had the honor of meeting Jacks mom, "Taquilla" and his littermate sister "Brandy". I see where Jack got his love of playing ball. They were all Ball-o-holics!! Gypsy is 4 year old mini. She came into my life in 2001. She is a rescue dog. She has the personality of a clown. I am happy to be her mom now. She likes to hunt, sniffing adventures, rides in the truck, sleeping, walks, HOT DOGS!, cuddling and a warm bed. Gypsy does not like cats, baths, loud noises, teeth brushing, & having to potty outside on cold days. These two are a very important part of my life. Jack has helped me deal with the loss of my first child at birth in 1993. Jack NEVER left my side. We used to visit Nursing Homes but had to stop due to everyone feeding him goodies. Jack is the undefeated "Fastest Weiner" in Montana for 7 years straight, from 1994-2000. He is retired now. He IS my sole-mate in a fuzzy suit. Gypsy needed a home and fast. She was not happy not having a mom. I stepped in and saw her face and had to have her. She has been the best addition to this family. She must think she is a bigger dog. Her goal in life is to bring down an elephant by herself. I love my babies and will be a mess the day they take the adventure to the Rainbow Bridge. I met another dachsie crazy woman over the internet, by the name of Candy, who lives in Illinois. She has 20+ dachsies and it will be a dream come true to meet her in person this summer. I hope to aquire one/two of her babies in the near future. I told Candy I would tie a porkchop around my neck and lay on the ground and have all her dachsie dogs lick me in the face. One word of advice...When you drop a fully cooked Pot-Pie on the floor and you have 20+ dachshunds around, jump up on a chair QUICKLY! (just ask Aunt Candy!) I hope you enjoyed my pictures. Please sign my Guestbook and say hello! I'm hoping to add more pages in the future. |
