Virtual Tour
Welcome to the Groton Public Library
We have included a few images of the library that you might find interesting.
We hope you will stop by for a personal tour.

The Circulation Desk at the Groton Public Library is the original desk provided
upon the libraries construction in 1824.
It was created of Oak and Mahogany. It has adapted well to the age of technology.

The library has two fireplaces, today they are unused but serve as beautiful focal points.
Notice the cameo inserts and the copper portraits of the founder and his mother.
The library was built by Dr. Charles Frick a local doctor in memory of his mother.
It was provided to serve as the school library and aid in the education of our children.

Groton recently obtained several new computers funded by a grant.
Many thanks to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Database and Internet
access is provided by the Finger Lakes Library System.

The Groton Public Library relies on it's taxpayers, and the generous support of
philanthropists. Please consider a tax deductible donation to support your local public library.
