Susan Robey, Library Director

Ms. Robey has been the Director of the Groton Public Library since August 25, 1978. A Graduate of Cincinnati University with a MS in Archival Studies and an undergraduate degree from SUNY Morrisville, prior to her work at Groton Public Library Ms. Robey was an Archivist at the DeWitt Historical Society in Tompkins County for 15 years. Ms. Robey has proven to be a successful administrator. She has successfully written several grants that have had great impact on the library.

Rebecca Smith, Library Assistant

Ms. Smith holds a degree in Nutrition from SUNY Morrisville and is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in education from SUNY Oswego. Ms. Smith joined the library staff in September 2000. She is a regular contributor to Fork and Spoon the magazine devoted to the restaurant trade.

Ramona Winker, Library Assistant

Ms. Winker is a 1978 graduate of Groton High School and since her graduation has worked at the Groton Public Library. She has developed a keen interest in children's literature and has contributed regularly in the selection and development of the Children's literature collection. Her ideas have helped to shape the library as we know it today.

Jacalyn C. Spoon, Volunteer Library Assistant

Ms. Spoon recently completed a bachelors degree in Anthropology from Ithaca College and is currently working on a Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University at Buffalo. Ms. Spoon has contributed to projects.
