A Glimpse
Sometimes in this short life
We are allowed to meet
Someone who brings understanding
To God's words to Eve
This man you will desire
And bring forth his children in pain.
Not the joy of motherhood but
The joy of knowing this man
Makes the pain all bearable.
Having been given this glimpse;
The joy of knowing this soul mate
Only to be told...
He's doesn’t belong to you
You can't have him.
You cry, you scream, you beg
Why, Lord, was I give this short
Interlude if it's not my destiny?
In the calm after the storm,
You hear the quiet voice saying
Be still, my child, and listen.
You are so busy,
So full of yourself,
So determined to do it your way
That a glimpse is required
To show you what you can
Have if you would
But let me choose for you.
This is dedicated to my glimpse...to all the joy you have brought me. Thank you for showing me what it should be like between a man and a woman; for showing me how a man can be your best friend and still be your lover. And if we never meet again then I will have an always memory as to what it can be like. *HUG*
