Another Day
by: Jaci Jace

I had longed to meet him
I had begun to feel quite grim
But the day came and finally we met
Unsure was I of what to expect
He seemed so different than what I thought
My disappointed easily he caught
He was less attractive than as would have seemed
A little less funny and some rude qualities he deemed
Not quite what I expected...
Yet more to him than I detected
He was soft and gentle
Even more so, he was fundemental
Suprised I was by his boyish quality
...His need to be held and stroked
...His sensitivity and ease of being provoked
Perhaps qualities that seem displeasing...
But to me it made him more so appeasing
The time came to say our farewell
So much more to him I wanted to tell
But I blew it with nothing to say
Will I have the chance another day?
