That's me, above. What follows below is probably more than you wanted to know, but why else would you be here? I'm almost 19 and live in not-THAT-sunny Florida. As you can probably tell, it wasn't my idea to live here. I may have lived in FL for 15 years, but I'm a true Californian at heart. That might be hard to understand - I simply don't like FL that much. Another weird thing about me is that I love cold weather (that's not the Californian in me talking). Luckily I'll be moving to Baltimore in August. The reason I'm moving 851 miles away is because I'm an artist. I'll be attending the Maryland Institute, College of Art, which was my first-choice school. Even though it was my first choice, that doesn't exactly mean it was an easy choice. I think it'll be worth it in the long run, however, and I'm at peace with my decision. I'll be an illustration major there, and I may minor in art history. I used to have "Top Ten" lists on these pages, citing some of my favorite things, but I decided I can't really present myself in such an analytical, organized way. Suffice it to say, I like to read, write, scrapbook, listen to music, think, be with my friends and cats, and, of course, draw and paint. I'm far from normal, though. I don't think I'd ever want to be normal. My "family life" certainly isn't normal. I won't go into that in depth, but I've learned some valuable lessons about what I DON'T want to do when I'm older. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my website! :) Take your time to look around and forget about the hectic world around us - at least for the time being. |
