The Party Crew
In 2004, and award was created, that was so vile and absurd, that it could only have sprung forth from the minds of Eric Brunke and Michael Smyth. Now, years on, the award is still going strong. Brunke, at that time a Junior, was heard to utter a string of extremely funny remarks (as was his custom), regarding the arrival of one JACC alumni "AJ Born". "Oh God", said Brunke, "here comes the party crew." Brunke was referring to Born and his friends, who, tragically would not bring anythign resembling a party to the scene: quite the opposite. Crowned honorary "Party Crew President" AJ Born was the first to hold the prestigious 1year term office awarded to a JACC 1year alumni. One year later, AJ's brother, Ryan, was responsible for a stroke of genius that resulted in the awarding of the office via a trophy of some sort, during a small ceremony, to Thomas Conroy. We owe Ryan much for his quick thinking and good sense of humor. It is little more than an insult to recieve the office, and I hope all who read this will realize how important this award is (which is "not important at all") and continue to award it for many years. |
