| --Mars Ill continues to be the chart's premier hip hop act. After Sound Off hit #1 earlier this year, When Heaven Scrapes The Pavement follows up the feat, giving Mars Ill their second #1 track. The single squeaks past Dashboard Confessional, ending Stolen's three week reign at the top. However, with Dashboard still close behind at #2 and Skillet's Rebirthing holding strong at #3, it will be tough for Mars Ill to keep the top spot. --But if Mars Ill is the chart's premier hip hop act, then the case has to be made that Dierks Bentley is the chart's premier act in any genre. Bentley has the longest streak of consecutive weeks on the Top 25 for one artist. With Every Mile A Memory still in the Top 25, that streak extends to 64 consecutive weeks. Also, Bentley now shares a spot with fellow country artist Kenny Chesney on top of the list of total weeks in the Top 25 for one artist. Both artists currently have been on the Top 25 for a whopping 93 weeks. Bentley certainly looks as though he will continue growing both of those numbers, as his latest single, Long Trip Alone, makes a strong debut at #35 this week. Dierks Bentley continues to be arguably the biggest name on the chart.
