Chart Notes:
--The run at the top continues for Taking Back Sunday, as Liar (It Takes One To Know One) continues to hold off the competition.  Dierks Bentley and Project 86 jump forward this week, each moving up one spot to the #2 and #3 spots, respectively.  Meanwhile, 30 Seconds To Mars also looks like a strong contender in the #5 spot this week.
--And it only seems appropriate, with the season premiere this week, to check on some former
American Idol competitors.  Daughtry's single, It's Not Over, continues to climb towards that top spot, jumping four spots this week to #14.  And former winner Carrie Underwood, while continuing to break country music records (Her debut disc, Some Hearts, just hit five times platinum this past week), sees her latest single, Wasted, climb five spots to #16.
--And, in the bottom half of the chart, there continues to be some strong movement from newcomers Meg & Dia.  After debuting
Monster last week at #40, the duo jumps ten spots to #30.  Meanwhile, three new singles debut this week from Breaking Benjamin, The Ataris and Martina McBride.
