GAMES
Doom 3 & Half Life 2
Yes they may of been delayed several times already but they are finally just aorund the corner with the PC release dates set in stone so are the Katana's. Doom 3 will be released on September 15th and Half Life 2 on October 11th.
With both titles taking advantage of Ntech's Shadow R technology, they will look just as stunning as their PC counter parts. Also of note is that both titles will be taking advantage of the Katana TX's added power so that you will be able to run the titles at 1080i at 60fps!

Interview with Pure 3D Head engineer

Well this is a good piece of news. Since the website when live just over a year ago well have finally gotten to our best mile stone yet... 100,000 unique forum members. The 100,000th member goes by the name of Public_03 and I hope he is wlecomed like everyone else has been.
For being the 100,000th member Public_03 has won a Katana TX machine and 5 games of his choice and these will be sent out as soon as the TX becomes available .
BUSINESS
10 million units sold
On July the 7th Ntech sold the 10 million'th Katana console just 10 months after launch! This means the Katana franchise is now a valiable as the Nintendo Gamecube and soon the same as Xbox on a world wide scale!
Stuart Carr Katana Marketing Manager had this so say "It's an astounding achievement we had reached, as it shows that the people have been captivated and engadged by what the Katana system has to offer. It just goes to show that with a combination of good hardware and software at a resonable price can really move units and software in the way it should. Here's to 20 million units!".
All this comes just as respected sales tracker company NPD released a report on the finicial situation that the Katana system sits in. According to the NPD findings it is beleaved that NTech is taking large losses on each unit is sells to move the units, Stuart Carr responce was this "It's the nature of the game, you have to loss some to win some and in the end that is the way the beast moves. The fact is that we are in confortable situation with a great user base and great finicial situation. While I won't conferm or deny the findings that NPD have, they are based of mere theory and here say and I wouldn't trust many of the figures that are given out."
