First off, heading all the vampires are the council. This is a group of the 8 oldests, wisest, and most powerful vampires. These are the vampires that run the night, and decide all that goes on with their kind. Among these 8, are the 3 daywalkers. When the first Vampire Dominic was created, he found the sun no worries. But alone as he was, he turned Dante. Dante too found the sun of no harm to him. But all Dominic turned after Dante would burn and die in the sun. Soon Dante felt the need to turn a few innocent people. Damion was his first turned, and Damion shared in the gift of the sun. It was soon realized that the Daywalker�s first turned would also be a Daywalker as they were the purest in the bloodline. So Damion waited, and turned his son Demetrius when he was old enough. Now Dominic has not been seen in several hundred years, and is thought to be dead. This only leaves the 3. But Demetrius is waiting to find the perfect person to turn into a daywalker.

But getting away from the Council is the Elites. They deem themselves Elites because they are just below the Council. They are great in number and have moderate to strong powers.

The fallen. These are the worst. These are the creations of the first fallen. A vampire that's change was interrupted. It caused the creature to loose its mind. Fallen could easily be considered a form of zombie. These creatures just attack and kill, but any and all bitten by these, turn into fallen. That is why there are normally very large groups of them at once.

But of course, with these creatures running around, someone has to fight them. That�s where we come in. Who are we? We are the Order. A group of vampire hunters and exterminators ordained by the church to do what we do.. Me? I am a hunter, my name is Eva Edenbrook and I am 20 years old. I have been with the order since I was 14, and watched a vampire rip my father to shreds. I have been fighting to avenge his death, and destroy Dante. But there is one problem. Not but 2 years ago Demetrius infiltrated the Order, becoming a member. I loath to admit it.. but I fell for him, and we became something of an item around the Order... But.. he proved who he really was, and I will never let another man, human or not, distract me from my mission of killing Dante. Only problem is.. Demetrius seems to have found who he wants to make his daywalker... Me.
