Once again we have an opportunity to learn more about Kunas and molas.
The mola is one of the most expressive forms of Indian art in the Americas.  Therefore, Kuna women are considered the most spectacularly dressed women in the New world.

The mola is, basically, a colorful decorative panel. The design theme they usually follow are about animals, devils, tribal objects, fishes, persons, and so on. They like to work with abstract geometric designs.
A mola may comprise two to seven layers of cloth. Kuna women love colors such as black, orange, , then yellow, blue, green and maroon. Can you imagine all the patience and time you need to make a mola ?
