Butterflies are lovely, aren't they ?
Here in Panama you will find find colorful and special butterflies. You may as well find them in other Latin American countries.
In 1973 the magazine REVIEW (issued by the former Canal Zone ) displayed a beautiful cover with different butterflies. Under the heading ' Panama's Winged Jewels ,  the curious reader learned that there are over 1,100 species known in Panama. Even now new species continue to be found.
Now you will glance just few of these  images which appeared  time ago but are very fascinating.
