The Future Is A Mystery

Welcome to my realm of possibilities!

Planning your future can either be exciting or just down right boring. Living one day to the next has its thrills at times, but after awhile it frays my nerves.

Currently, I am majoring in psychology at a 2 year college. I plan to transfer to a larger, 4 year university that hopefully awards doctorates. I am considering the idea of minoring in anthropology or even religion. I would love to go to a school with lacrosse, but it's fine if I don't.

Hopefully, I should be out of college by the time I'd like to get married. Saturday, February 27, 2010 would be a perfect date, considering that is when Jesse and I met in person. Let's just hope it would not be too cold then!

My Wedding Dress
I LOVE this dress! Hopefully I will find someone who can recreate it and make it even better.  A Renaissance wedding dress!! Now why didn't I think of that before? The dress in the front would be mine and the one in the back would be for my bridesmaids.

THE Song:

"Dela (I Know Why The Dog Howls At The Moon)"
John Cleese

One day I looked up and there you were
Like a simple question looking for an answer
Now I am a whale listening to some inner call
Swimming blindly to throw myself upon your shore
What if I don't find you when I have landed?
Would you leave me here to die on your shore stranded?
I think I know why the dog howls at the moon.
I think I know why the dog howls at the moon.

I say:
"Dela! Dela! Ngiya-dela!
(Content, content I am content)
When I'm with you!
Dela! Son-dela mama!
(Closer, closer, come closer mama)
Son-dela!
I burn for you!

I've been waiting for you all my life
hoping for a miracle
I've been waiting day and night
day and night
I've been waiting for you all my life
waiting for redemption
I've been waiting day and night
I burn for you

The blind bird sings inside the cage that is my heart
The image of your face comes to me when I'm alone in the dark
If I could give a shape to this ache that I have for you
If I could find the voice that says the words that capture you
I think I know
I think I know
I think I know
I think I know
I think I know why the dog howls at the moon.
I think I know why the dog howls at the moon.

I say:
"Dela! Dela! Ngiya-dela!
(Content, content I am content)
When I'm with you!
Dela! Son-dela mama!
(Closer, closer, come closer mama)
Son-dela!
I burn for you!

I've always wanted to go to the Bahamas for my honeymoon. My ideas on that have been changing, however. Now the U. S. Virgin Islands are looking very nice. Let me know what your opinion is...

I would like to wait 3 to 5 years to start having children. However, if it does not work out that way it is okay with me. One, two, or maybe even three kids would probably work well.

I am considering the possiblity of adopting a baby Asian girl in addition to my own children I plan to have. I already have a name picked out for her as well. I'm not sure which Asian countries allow international adoption. I am in the process of obtaining information about various Asian countries and cultures. The Philippines are high on my list right now.

This is what I refer to as "my house". As you can see, it has the bay windows coming out onto the double porch, it has a side car garage, and there is even a basement! The lawn is nicely done. You cannot tell from the picture, but there are beautiful, bright flowers off to the left in an island area. The only thing I don't like about this house is the staircase to the backyard.

"A house is made of wooden beams. A home is made of love and dreams."

Jesse and I have been hard at work designing our future home. He has artistically drawn the floorplans and even started to measure things out. We have some idea of the colors and/or themes for each room.

Ideas...

I would like to have a garden one day. Claude Monet is my favorite artist, so maybe it can look like his garden at his home in Giverny, France. Perhaps there can be a nice water garden or even a place to grow vegetables and/or fruits.
