Questdex

They send me free telephone directories. This is how I say "thank you".

Mapquest

An invaluable site. I’m frequently use it to pinpoint local addresses or anywhere in the U.S. And it’s great for getting approximate distances between two addresses or two cities.

Microsoft Products Support

If your Microsoft software is giving you fits:

The KnowledgeBase is a database of articles which you can search in hopes of finding an article that recognizes your problem and offers a solution or workaround.

1) Click: http://support.microsoft.com

2) Pull down the "Support" menu item and select "Knowledgebase"
(warning: the menus are not easy to find and there may be two menu bars)

NewGroups are places you can leave a message detailing a problem you’re having. You can go back to that site, say, the next day (or sooner, if you wanted) and probably find an expert has responded to your problem with a suggestion. The expert probably isn’t a Microsoft employee -- just someone who likes to help.

1) Click: http://support.microsoft.com

2) Select the menu item "Newsgroups"
(warning: the menus are not easy to find and there may be two menu bars)
