Public Executions? I say: Bring ‘em on. It’s a practice that many left-wingers hope will weaken American support for capital punishment. And many on the right seem to agree with them. A glance at history should revise such expectations. It hasn’t seemed to occur to these people that the public can become as inured to executions as a feminist to Clinton's sexual advances. Of course, it would must be mandatory that a film of the heinous crime also be broadcast.
