I signed up for a free website on Yahoo and they put me here, on Geocities. Yahoo provides sophisticated aides for designing and creating websites, uploading, etc.

These webpages were originally created and maintained using MS Word (the crudity of these webpages mustn’t be blamed on MS Word -- I choose to make the design as simple as possible to expedite downloading and to ease maintenance). However, Word's deficiencies as an HTML editor has led me to using Notepad and an HMTL book.

Designing and refining a website is difficult enuf focusing on one browser. I’m not going to manage two or more. I tested this in Internet Explorer 6.0 with my display resolution at 800x600, with Internet Explorer’s Text Size set to "medium" or "smaller"—and with my fingers crossed.
