2pkgs. (3oz.) cream cheese w/ chives
2/3C. herb stuffing (needs to be made into crumbs)
2C. chicken
1/2 C. chopped walnuts
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1&1/4 C. butter
1 4oz. can mushrooms

Cream together: cheese, 1/4 c. butter & pepper.  Fold in chicken & mushrooms.  Unroll crescent rolls.  Spread 1/4 c. mixture on each roll.  Fold & seal edges.  Dip in 1 cup melted butter & then in mixture of nuts & stuffing .  Place on ungreased cookie sheet & bake at 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes.  Can freez

4C. chicken stock             4Tbsp. cornstarch

Season to taste.  Bring to boil until thick.  You may add cut parsley.  Serve over hot pillo

Cooking Tips
Spreading shortening around the top rim of a pot before bringing any liquid to a boil will keep it from boiling over.
Egg Conversion:
1 egg = 4 T. liquid
4-5 whole = 1Cup
7-9 whites = 1Cup
12-14 yolks = 1Cup
Placing a piece of bread in with your brown sugar will help keep it soft.
Placing a bay leaf in with your nuts will keep wevils away.
No-Fail Microwave Fudge

31/2 C. powdered sugar
1/2 C. Cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. butter or marg. cut into pieces
1/4 C. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 C. mini M & M's

In a large microwave safe bowl, combine first 3 ingredients; stir until well blended.  Drop butter into sugar mixture.  Microwave on high 1-2 minutes or until butter melts.  Add milk, stirring until smooth.  Microwave on high 1 minute longer.  Stir in vanilla & candy.  Pour into a buttered 8 inch square baking pan.  Chill 1 hour or until firm.  Cut into 1 inch squares.  Store in an airtight container.  Makes about 5 dozen.
