1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass 'S' Convertible
After selling my '69 Cutlass, I began to want another hobby car. As I sat in the local Burger King with my (ex) wife, I told her that I would love to find a car "just like my Cutlass, only a convertible". I no sooner let those words out of my mouth, when around the corner came a gold '69 Cutlass convertible! This got my car fever up and motivated me to go and pick up a local paper, and a copy of the Auto Trader and look for ragtops. In the local Denton, TX newpaper, I saw an ad for a 1969 Oldsmobile Conv. for $2500. I called, and went to the address, and sure enough, it was the same gold Cutlass 'S' ragtop I saw earlier in the day. I bought it on the spot for $2000. I had this car for about 6 years, went through 2 tops, and had the time of my life. I still kick myself for selling it.
