Proposal:

A four letter that nobody wishes to include in their vocabulary, and if a person is deep in it, can be a scary situation. The four letter word that I am describing is "debt."

The main focus question that I chose for my research paper is How does the rising cost of everyday necessities contribute to family debt?

The reason I chose How does the rising cost of everyday necessities contribute to family debt? is because debt can happen to just about anyboby at any given time. Debt can be a bigger toll on some people, and in worst cases it can lead to crime, and in extreme conditions debt can lead to suicide.

I know do not know to much about family debt, but when I was little my mom would get food stamps and cash aide, and it was hard for her because she could not make ends meet. When she decided to get off government aide, she got two good jobs; she worked at Foster Farms for over three years, and now she works at a furniture place.

I plan to look through a couple search engines to get the sources that I need for my research paper. In addition, I plan to look through some electronic articles i.e. Infotrac, The Los Angeles Times, and maybe the Fresno Bee. I am having a little difficulty finding a enough sources for my paper. If anybody can help, I would surely appreciate it.

The four sources that I have to date are:

How does the rising cost of everyday necessities contribute to family debt?

I plan on validating my information with up-to-date information and rely on authors that know or have been in the situation relating to my topic. In addition, I plan on using url addresses that only involve .org, .net, .edu and not any that involve .com.

The one thing that I am worried about with this topic is finding information. I was in the library for almost four hours, and I only found four sources. I still need to figure out who I am going to interview. anybody interested?
