In a world that has fought war after war, based on the freedom and equality of mankind, I am irked with the problem of racism.  I have lived in South Georgia all my life and wonder if the entire United States feels the same way as the majority does here OR if I am just so lucky to live among the ignorant.  Here's my story:
My skin is white, my blood is red, my heart is full of love, and my head is full of knowledge.  Like I said before, I live in the South, but I cannot believe what I see with my eyes or hear with my ears daily.  I chose not to be a part of the degrading ritual I witness.  Daily I hear people (including my own parents) use the word "nigger" to refer to black people.  I cringe when I hear this.  I am glad this predjuice was not a trait that was passed down to me (or maybe I am just smarter than these people).  They insist that black men are drug dealers that steal, rob, and rape innocent white people.  Black women are nasty, lazy, and just want to be on welfare.  These are the very stereotypes that the Civil Rights Movement fought to eliminate.  Here I live in the United States--the great
melting pot that is more segregated than any other country.  I live in a country that fought in WWI and was appalled at the Holocaust, but yet somehow finds a way to treat its own citizens so second rate.  I am ashamed at this behavior.  Maybe we should just tatoo swastikas on the foreheads of these racists.  At least this would eliminate the problem of the 'wolf in sheeps clothing' I have witnessed.  You know what I am talking about.  These are the people (mainly white people) who work, eat, and socialize with blacks and then turn right around and refer to them as that N-word.  And believe me it happens more times a day than I can count.  I guess because my skin is white, people automatically assume that I am okay with their racist views.
In conclusion, I can only hope that when these racist, close- minded people die they don't stand before a black God.  How horrible that would be for all of these "Christians" to face.  Would they say, "God, we have preached you word, but now we hate you because of the color of your skin  Just go ahead and send me to hell."  I don't think so.
What sets me off....
We are all one under God
So when you are in a chat room with me, talking to me, or around         me and violate my feelings, you will be IGNORED quickly!!
