| Welcome everyone to my little experiment. My name is Jon, and I am an addict. My drug of choice I guess would technically be Crystal Meth, or the many other names it goes by. In reality though my drug of choice is whatever is available. Anything that might cause the slightest bit of instant gratification hooks me right away. It is a nightmare to live with, and suicide is never far from my mind, but I'm still here. Unfortunatley the inspiration for this page is the death of someone I have admired for years. A few days ago, Layne Staley was found dead in his apartment. I've never been one to get sad over the loss of celebrities, but this one hit home. Layne was someone who tried to explain to the world what it is I actually am. Being an addict, is not something most people can comprehend. Lord knows when I try to explain it, all I get are the usual comments like, " Why don't you just quit?" "Why can't you just be normal?" "All it takes is a little willpower?" Well, if it were that easy, I would be living in the lap of luxury back in Detroit, instead of living in exile down in the south. So hopefully by telling my story, I can at least try to make some understand. So please visit the links below, and I love feedback so do the guestbook thing or email me.
