There are several kinds of digital modulations :

  • PDM      "Pulse Duration Modulation"
  • PPM       "Pulse Position Modulation"
  • MIC/PCM    "Pulse Code Modulation"
  • DM       "Delta Modulation"
  • DPCM   "Differential PCM Modulation"
  • FSK   "Frequency Shift Keying"
  • PSK   "Phase Shift Keying"
  • DPSK   "Differential PSK"
  • QPSK   "Quadrature PSK"
  • MPSK  " M_PSK"
  • QAM    "  Quadrature Amplitude Modulation"
  • TCM   "Trellis Coded Modulation"

 Considerations :

PAM,PDM,PPM,PCM and DPCM we can consider like no modulation 'cause it doesn't has any carrier, only information signal.

FSK,PSK,QAM and TCM has an analog carrier signal but information is digital.
