This was my first project. I used a nickel plated copper wire, what a mistake! It was easy to learn with and bend, but I am paying for it. The copper is way too soft, and it's coming apart. The links are very small compared to what most people use- 20 ga wire in 1/4 inch diameter rings.

I used brass wire to accent the bottom edge with a box style weave, and also to make an ankh accent on the back of the hand in honor of my favorite computer game series, Ultima. It's tough to see in pictures. Some day I want to replicate this glove in galvanized steel. This will both make it strong enough so that it doesn't fall apart and let the ankh design show up better.
