alrighty... and the six-month update includes another 2001fp!
Considering that the 9800pro only has one DVI port, I opted to purchase a Sapphire 128mb Radeon 9200pci to power the other 2001fp. everything looks pretty snazzy!
I also snagged 2 of those nice MaxLine Plus II 250GB drives from maxtor with the 5year warranty for $99 each. Yeah, I'm a bargain shopper. Got the $30 rebate back on my Toshiba DVD burner inside the MadDog box bringing the total to $14 shipped. Only took 2 months for the rebate.

I took out a bunch of old information and deleted a bunch of files. I've decided to consolidate and get rid of that old info just because. Actually, there's not really a reason for me to have a webpage, except for as a free place to upload files & pictures so that other people can access them.
As such, there will be fewer updates and that's why there's not really any information about me found on this page. After all, only one or two people visit the site every couple of months. Pretty much a dead website, but it still serves its purpose: my own free space to hold stuff.

June, 2004:
I needed more space on my main boot drive so I finally got rid of the SCSI setup. Instead, I bought the Abit A7N ultra motherboard for the SATA ports and purchased a 36gb Raptor. It's all running smoothly, and has been for months... except for one thing... this Abit motherboard doesn't overclock worth beans!
And, there seems to be a conflict with my Santa Cruz once in awhile because of the bluescreen I get. Not quite sure what to do about it, since the parts seem to work by themselves fine. I'd really rather go back to the Shuttle board though since it was more stable and overclocked great too! bah. humbug. So much for Abit. I've had 3/3 great shuttle motherboards and 0/1 for Abit.
Yes, I am a computer nerd. Accepting that you have a problem is the first step to fixing the problem. Not too bad though, as I could upgrade the computer once every 4-6 months instead of my regular 9-12 months.
February 18, 2004 update:
Well, it's about time for an update, I guess. Considering that it's been a LONG time since the last update and I built a new computer once again!

July 16, 2003 Update:
Escape Velocity: Nova for Windows has been released!!! It's the BEST GAME EVER! I was going to buy a Macintosh just for the Escape Velocity series. Now I can play on my beloved little computer! Everybody should at least try this game! Free for 30 days, register to continue playing if you like it. Space RPG, with ship upgrades, pirates, aliens, trading, bounty hunting, secret government missions, and lots of great plug-ins that change the game, adding more ships, weapons, planets, missions, graphics. The original Escape Velocity has star wars plug-ins, with the Millenium Falcon, B-Wing, X-wing, TIE, star destroyers, all the ships, with the storylines.
