First of all, there wasn't enough room on the "Junior Senior Sting/Cheerleader bus" because the JV and Freshmen cheerleaders also came. So I volunteered to ride the band bus. I sat with Daniel and it was a bunch of fun. Half way there, all the buses pulled over to the side of the road. At the time, we didn't know what was happening, but we found out later that the bus in the front ran into the back of a car!
When we got there, the restroom was full, and there was only like one stall, so this guy standing there told us we could go use the "Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader Lockerroom" which was very cool. The whole lockerroom is covered from ceiling to floor in mirrors!
Then, at the game, we did mine and Lara's dance. I coreographed the feather part and she did the skirt part. I loved this dance because it had so much color and everything, it was so pretty! Anyways, I was whistling on the way out, and we got out onto the field and we were still facing the band and needed to turn around. Well, I wasn't thinking and I dropped the whistle out of my mouth to say something to someone next to me. And because I had feathers in my hands I couldn't just put it back in my mouth, so I yelled "Tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet" as loud as I could and luckily everyone heard and followed along. Pretty funny though.
Then after we danced, we ate in the tunnel. That was fun, even though the tunnel isn't exactly my favorite place. The tunnel brings back some bad memories involving '0 degrees,' 'rain,' and 'bare feet' from my freshmen year.
After the game I rode back with Daniel on the band bus which was great. I was surprised how many people in band ride home on the bus. There's normally only like ten people that ride back on the Sting bus, so you can lay across two seats and go to sleep. Not quite that way on the band bus, though. Me and Daniel talked for a long time, I like talking to him. Then, I went to Whataburger afterwards and ate with a bunch of people there. It was a great night.
