	Name: Himura Kenshin
	Weapon/s: Reversed Edged Sword (Sakabatou), 2nd Reversed Edged Sword (Sakabatou Shinuchi)
	Technique: Hiten Mistsurugi Ryu
	Description: Formerly known as Hitokiri Battousai (literally means "sword drawing man slayer") in the Tokugawa Era, he swore that he would never kill anyone forever. He is a master of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, a technique which only a few have seen. It focuses on the use of god - like speed and demands much concentration. Now, he stays in the Kamiya Dojo to try to lead a peaceful life. He now uses his skills to protect the weak and his loved ones.
	Name: Kamiya Kaoru
	Weapon/s: Boken / Shinai (Wooden Sword)
	Technique: Kamiya Kasshin Ryu
	Description: The mistress and teacher in the Kamiya Dojo. She teaches the style of Kamiya Kashin Ryu, the sword of life, to her disciples of which now only Myoujin Yahiko is around. She secretly loves Kenshin and fears for the lives of those close to her.
	Name: Sanosuke Sagara
	Weapon/s: Zanbatou (broken by Kenshin)
	Technique: Futae No Kiwami (taught by Anji)
	Description: A former member of the Sekihoutai, a peasant army which got slaughtered by the Ishin Shishi, he grew up hating the Meiji government. He came across Kenshin whom he knew as a former Ishin Shishi and battled with him. (This is where his sword was broken) After that, he realized that Kenshin is different from them and decides to stay with them in the Kamiya Dojo.
	Name: Myoujin Yahiko
	Weapon/s: Boken / Shinai (Wooden Sword)
	Technique: Kamiya Kasshin Ryu, impersonation of Kenshin's Ryu Tsui Sen
	Description: He was a pickpocket when he met Kenshin. Kenshin later found out that he is being used by a gang to whom his parent's owed money. (Kenshin rescues him of course ^_^) Yahiko hopes to be as strong as Kenshin and now trains hard in the Kamiya Dojo.
	Name: Takani Megumi
	Weapon/s: None
	Technique: None
	Description: A beautiful girl who is skilled in the art of medicine, she was forced to produce opium for Kanryu. Kenshin later saved her from Kanryu and she now helps out an old friend of Kaoru's father, Dr. Genzai, as an apprentice doctor.
	Name: Seijuro Hiko
	Weapon/s: ?
	Technique: Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu
	Description: The master of Kenshin. He brought up Kenshin and taught him the principles of the secret technique. Kenshin left him when he was fifteen. He returned to him ten years after to complete his training. Although rude at times he is a man of his word.

	Weapon/s: Kodachi, Long Japanese Sword
	Technique: Kodachi Ni Tou Ryu (Double Sword Technique)
	Description: Okashira (leader) of the Oniwabanshu, Aoshi specializes in the Kodachi. ( a short sword meant for defending one's self from sword attacks) He blames Kenshin and sworn revenge on Kenshin after he indirectly caused the death of his four comrades in the Oniwabanshu. He has a strong obssession to defeat Kenshin and claim the title of the strongest.
	Name: Hajime Saitoh/u
	Weapon/s: Japanese Katana (Mumei No Ken)
	Technique: Gatotsu , Mizoguchi Haittou Ryu
	Description: Captain of the third squad of the Shinsengumi (arch enemies of the Ishin Shishi), he crossed swords with Kenshin during the revolution, all which ended in a draw. After the Restoration, he became member of the police force. He was called upon to test the skills of the former Hitokiri Battousai when the government felt that Kenshin is needed to deal with the rebel Shishio. His special technique is the Gatotsu, a modified form of the Mizoguchi Haittou Ryu which the Shinsen gumi is known for.
	Name: Seta Soujiro
	Weapon/s: Japanese Katana
	Technique: Hevenly Sword Technique
	Description: Also known as the Hevenly Sword, Soujiro is a natural born swordsman. Out of the four basic human emotions (Joy, Anger, Love, Fear), he only has Joy. Thus he is always seen smiling even when he is killing or fighting. He was brought up Shishio and taught him how to wield the sword. His moves are undpredictable since he does not project any ki. Kenshin had difficulty fighting against him.
