Norman Cousins' Impressions I think John Kafkaloff can write like a streak. A streak with flashes of John Dos Pasos. Something here, too, of Henry Miller and Ginsburg - not too much but enough to make us think. J.K. blends imagery with typography. I don't know anyone who quite brings it off as well as he does. in refferrence to: What Is The Jaguar A BALLAD OF THE MOON SEASON is vintage Kafkaloff. The images are sharp, the story line moves well, and the characterization is strong. I congratulate John on the total effect. - Norman Cousins |
