I am finally sitting down to update my "updates" page:) also lemme add a page counter. Now I got the driving license today after being eligible to get one for 5 years or even more. I took , if I am not mistaken 5 learners licenses and never converted it , till yesterday. Cool , its finally there. Life is not so interesting here without any info on my I 20 , courtesy Ms.Valarie the Grad assistant of the Industrial and systems Engg dept , Georgia Tech. Today I wrote a mail , almost begging them to know its whereabouts ; to of course , Ms.Pam Morrison and not Valerie, coz Ms.Valarie would confuse me more , if I so did. I still remember her telling , that my travel plans were none of her problems. What an un-empathizing person , in such a position. Or is she just an inkling to how people are gonna be in US...:(

Hey guys , I played a couple of tamil and hindi songs i carried with me from India , to my lab colleagues , which include an Italian , an American , and a chinese guy among others..and Guess what songs they liked immediately...."Nee partha " of Hey Ram..they were truly haunted and kept humming that one whole day ..and kept playing it a number of times....among others ....were "Anbendra " of Minsara Kanavu.....well the sagging part was they didnt like was my personal favorite

Still have a feeling , that i havent made any new interesting friends . I also need to decide what I am going to do for winter , coz Airline tickets are gonna dry out ....New York..? No idea .....lemme see...
Watching too many movies nowadays coz life seems to be relaxed ..Not only do i work 40 hours a week .. I am also attending one class during the midday of Tueday and Thursday..Luckily the Company has consented to it.. That means I finish my req this sem itself.

I forgot to mention that I have now visited NEW YORK , LONDON and MILWAUKEE . London was good. SCOTLAND was amazing . NEW YORK was the best. IF u didnt check out my pics dont miss em. cool ones. Havent posted London pics yet. Will be going to Washington DC soon. Company life is great . Presently working on three Projects. Notables with EXXON MOBIL and CATERPILLAR. I think I am doing well. But I am getting to feel that even US companies distribution networks are pathetic and Primitive. Good reason to be in the Industry . Research in Georgia Tech is way ahead of even the American latest . But I think the Military Logistics must be up-to-date...Who knows..?

Boy o Boy ... Its a year now that I have written an update and so much has happened . I worked for a couple of semesters with NS and have an offer with them . Another with Cap Gemini Ernst and Young... Not a bad performance in a poor economy wasnt it.? Joining NS for "not so obvious" better pay and job profiles. Life has been good.... yes.!
Lazy year though. didnt do anything exciting . Did go to India ... cant complain.! Came back with a heavy heart..but Now I am, back to basics ..fun and frolic.! I ended up buying a car... a Nissan Altima 1997 model .... Black one ...good as new . And within a week some sick chap has made his mark on a door with some scratches. Disappointing.... But I guess I am getting along.
I took up a guitar class and dropped out after the first class. Bad music teacher at Emory.! Spring is beautiful and am roaming around like hell. There are a slew of restaurants in Atlanta I havent been yet... so picking each of those every week..... I have to move out of this place I presently stay, into the suburbs as the lease is getting over and since I have a car and free parking at work[we are speaking Atlanta !] I think I need to move to a greener and peaceful place away from the busy city.
By the by, last but not the least , I have my graduation coming up this saturday .. Got the gowns and all the stuff I . Gotta talk the talk and walk the walk. Thats all thats left. well what else.? Thats it for now I guess . Hope to see u soon.

Hai Diary ..Since I havent given this webpage address away to many people , I have a feeling I am writing this Diary to myself.. Whatever happens , I am glad it would be a repository of experiences that I can look back to. I returned back this week from the Yoga class at Michigan . A compassionate soul gave me a ride from Chicago to Michigan and so i could make it. The freeway between Chicago and Grand Rapids was totally clogged . Tough riding.! Well it was a phenomenal experience the BSP program ..Total out of world experience which now is so personal that I hesitate to share.. and this week my energy is so flared up ..I am just going on without rest ..... Made some interesting friends ..for the first time I met people whom I couldn't classify to a typical category which I would otherwise do. I am sure I will be in touch bcause the experience ties us up for a long time . Ill never forget it. This weekend I have a concert to attend .. The Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in Atlanta.... I hope it will be fun....... Next week there is concert by Zakir Hussain and Pandit Jasraj.... I am sure that will be a different experience.. As is evident I am packed... I just moved into my new place 15 min drive from work... feels like I am living in a hillresort...... beautiful landscaping.! Work is getting a bit hectic but I am getting to enjoy it more...I would like to work here for quite some time ...thats pretty much a lot for now I guess. C u soon .! .!

Kind of a sober day today , so I think this entry should be devoid of much enery . I am drained today , physically and emotionally. Let me tell you this before anything else , living alone is no joke. Maintaining a house is no kids job. Everything seems to fall apart if I am dormant even for a couple of days . Vacuuming the house , cleaning the kitchen , washing the dishes , cooking every day - mundane things seem so daunting if I take time off. Housekeeping is no fun.... Now I can understand the plight of ladies .... Life has become a bit repetitive , and I dont seem to make much of an effort to change things. I have started playing tennis again - coaching classes every week . Not many new friends though - I think I have more inertia nowadays , and there is really no momentum building up either. But on the career side , I should be spending some quality time at the World renowned Princeton University , starting this month end . I am going to spend some time learning some stuff that I could implement at my company. Unfortunately at this time friends at New York seem to have too much stuff going on .... I hope they have some time to spare. coming to think of it , I hope I have some time to spare so i could chill out at my favorite spot , Times Square. 3 weeks back I was in New York's Times Square and the place was teeming with people .. A break from Atlanta which is kinda empty most of the time. Other than that, I am keeping up with Yoga Practices , which is good. I dont have any career or personal goals right now , which is probably why I am feeling empty.!

Its been a long time now since I updated the diary , and cant believe time is running so fast.... A couple of things to update - One , the New York project at Princeton University has been shelved for the time being , and I am doing the same work with a company in Calgary , Canada - They had a meeting with us , and I was really impressed with the kind of work , so we have decided to work with them on this project - so I shall soon be in Canada , albeit the winter , I am kinda excited. It has started to get real cold in Atlanta[atleast to Atlanta Standards.!], and looks like I have lost my leather coat somewhere , and I have to do without it, which is a pity. Another tidbit is I am taking a vacation in India this month - three weeks.! one week in Singapore and Malaysia with parents and 2 in India - Coimbatore. I am sure my mom isnt going to let me out of the house , so no question of meeting anyone in Madras and Balore. A few close friends are therefore coming to CBE to meet me , and that should be fun. And finally got the Singapore Visa also.. so I am set.
This weekend I had a whirlwind trip of Miami , Orlando and Tampa - I ve already been to Panama City and Pensacola so a welcome break to be on the Atlantic Coast .. Miami was hip... went to sleep very late... Clearwater beach in Tampa was great.. we didnt go to KEY WEST though.. that shall be another time..
Well ,lastly I started shopping for the India trip,..since its the second time in a year , I did some light shopping - chocolates , nuts etc.. it was so cold today , so somehow managed to get this done , since I am leaving next Friday..... I have my fourth round tennis playoff match this sunday... Have had an unbelievable run in the league and in the playoffs ... I can't be more satisfied.... The sad part is I wont be here for the semis and the finals , if I end up making it .... lets see what happens next season.... Will be more exciting since I move up a level given the performance this time .. i can still remember playing with friends at Cbe- hand tennis... that was real fun too..!
Well thats it for now , looks like this is one of the longer postings... but hey , it was three months..!
