Jan 20 -  It seems daddy wants me in the bedroom during the day because he always keeps the door closed. I cant wait for him to get home because he gives me food ! I will do anything for food ! He picked up my bowl and I knew for him to get home because he gives me food ! I will do anything for food ! He picked up my bowl and I knew I was going to have dinner. Daddy then went upstairs so I ran after him telling him to hurry...I am hungry! I bumped my belly against each step I ran up. Why does he  laugh at me when he sees me do that? :-/
Jan 19 - I slept most of the day while daddy was at work. At about 2pm I got off the bed and ate all the food pebbles spread all over the floor. Then I napped in front of the window, in the sunshine, until the sun went down. After, I climbed back up onto the bed.

When daddy got home he left the bedroom door open! I did not go out because I was afraid to! There might be lions, tigers and bears out there (oh my!!!). After awhile nothing came to attack me so I got off the bed and ventured out the room. I was too afraid to go up the stairs. Daddy came out and teased me up the stairs with dry food. That was mean. I can hardly get up the stairs because my belly scrapes the top of each step as I struggle up. 

I have never seen this area up stairs before. I made sure to keep a look out for the lions, tigers and bears (oh my !) sniff sniff here... smell smell there. There are lots of things needing investigation up here! Bed time came sooner than later but I didn't mind. I like daddys cozy bed with that fuzzy blanket on top :-)
Jan 18 - It is Tuesday and daddy went to work again. Daddy thinks I did not even get off the bed the whole day! I did though because he spread dry food everywhere. Why didn�t he just put the food in my bowl? He made me hunt around the room for every single pebble of food. That takes the enjoyment out of being a first class glutton!

Jan 17 - Today the door to the walk in closet was opened as well as the showering room to the bathroom !  Great ! more area to explore !  Sniff sniff here� smell smell there. Hey� what is that moving outside the window? A pidgeon just flew buy the window! A flying rat I say! Daddy had to go to work so I spent most of the day alone. When he got home he wanted to play but I wanted to keep sleeping. I won. ;-)
Jan 16 - Wow what a morning. I am sure I was not dreaming because I am definitely in a different place. Daddy was lazy getting out of bed. He says I am turing out to be quite the little purr-box. After awhile he gave me some food and left for about 3 hours. He said he went for a bike ride. Then we spent the rest of the day together. He worked on his computer and I sat around and looked cute. Purrrr I saw more birds zoom by the window! After dinner daddy picked me up and put me on the bathroom scale. I weighed 13.4 lbs. He should not have done that though because I ended up barfing up my dinner. I think daddy learned an important lesson that day. Never pick me up after I have eaten.

Jan 15, 2005 - Today I arrived at my new daddys house. I was a scary day having being kooked up in that plastic suitcase. I was glad we arrived though and could not wait to get out of that cage!

This was a place I have never been. It did not smell like my regular home. I got to walk around in this huge room. Smell, smell here... sniff sniff there. What is in this corner? What is this place under the bed? I don�t smell any other animals here� something is not right about that so I better stay alert ! 

After a short while Laurel, her husband and Joseph left. Things got quite and there was just me and daddy. I spend much of the day resting, smelling everything around me, and resting again. My daddy picked me up for the first time and put me on the bed. It felt so nice and cozy there that I curled up and tried to sleep, except the birds kept flying by the window and keeping me awake! I did not know that this is the bed where daddy sleeps too!
