Amateur Radio (or ham radio as it's often called) is simply a hobby of radio communication. I am liscenced by the FCC to use certain frequencies and certain transmitting power to talk to other people. Right now I don't have a liscence to be able to use the HF band, and so I can't use the frequencies that are needed to talk to people in distant places. I'm trying to learn Morse Code so I can upgrade my liscence, but right now it's kind of a moot point anyway because I live in an apartment and can't really afford the antenna, radio, etc. that I would need to transmit to more distant locations.

I enjoy firearms of all types. I own handguns, rifles, and a shotgun and I try to go out to the range to use them as much as I can. I can't say that I'm a particularly good shot, but I do try hard. As you can see from the link at the bottom I also believe very strongly in the individual right to possess and carry firearms. I'm a member of the often-vilified NRA, I write my elected officials to tell them my opinions on the matter, and I vote as often as I can.
Meagan is my wife. I'd say she's one of my hobbies, but she's more of an obsession. She is an absolutely wonderful woman. She is quite obviously perfect.
