School, N of Scottsville. no monuments, only fieldstones. Known by the children of William Christopher and Cynthia (THOMPSON) HAINES as the burial place of their parents and brother. "Bible of William Richey, Allen County, Kentucky (born 1810)
This Bible (or parts of two) is in poor condition. The family record pages are tattered. There is a partial title page. Published and sold by Kimber and Sharpless, Philadelphia. There is no date. The Bible came to me through William Richey's daughter, Elizabeth M. Richey Whitney, my great grandmother. At the time of her death in 1925, she was making her home with her son (my grandparents), Clarence Bransford and Sarah Hatler Whitney, Taylor County, Kentucky. The spelling has not been corrected but some punctuation has been added for clarity. Yes, some of the names are spelled two ways in the Bible..( ) are notes added by Sarah Whitney Baston
