Super Bowl XXXIX: Patriots vs. Eagles |
|
32 Teams, then 16, 8, 4 and it all comes down to two: two teams that withstood the test of time to be in the greatest football championship ever known to man: The Super Bowl. In this 39th edition of the Big Game with the extravagant half-time show and the epic commercials, the New England Patriots (who've been to the Super Bowl before since 1986 against the legendary Chicago Bears, who eventually won the game) face off against the comeback team, the flying Philadelphia Eagles (a team in which Terrell Owens might come back and TE Chad Lewis will not attend) for the silver football trophy known as the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Who will be MVP? The Eagles' Donavan McNabb will be the MVP. Who will win? The Eagles will by a score of 32-29 in overtime (which should be exciting since the game will be shown in the East Coast at 6:30 p.m. and if it lasts for more than three hours, it could reach the late night hours and make it the most watched program on FOX this year since American Idol returned to the network to save it from competition with other big networks like the rising phoenix known as ABC). After the game is over, the best commercial that everyone will be talking about will be the one that no one will see: A commercial featuring Mickey Rooney's butt exposed. As for the half-time show, Paul McCartney will do pretty good after a successful U.S. comeback tour, but don't expect any private parts flashing or butt cracking due to the strict indecency fines that began right after last year's scandalous Super Bowl in which Janet Jackson exposed her boobs on national TV when Justin Timberlake ripped a piece of her clothing to shock the football fans. Other than that, enjoy the game! |
