My Life |
|
I was born on December 26, 1982 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, N.J., where it still stands to this day despite increased sprawl and population as well as decreased crime. My mom was a nice person, while my Dad was a goody two-shoes. At first, they lived nicely, but it changed quickly after a few months when my mom took me to Florida, where I stayed for three years until I came back to Fair Lawn, N.J., where my Dad was a bit angry. He later took care of me and took me to special education classes for the next decade and a half. We later moved to Clifton and I went to some schools in that area. Later on, I went to the Forum School in Waldwick under the teachings of Cheryl and Irene. I did A-OK there until Uncle Larry recommended I go to Ridgefield for elementary school. That changed everything. I grew up with the people who went there, all the way until junior and regular high school in Ridgefield Memorial High School for the first half. It was there where I had some maturity problems, and during that time Dad learned that his neighbors Judy and Norbert were moving to a nicer town by the name of Blairstown (where we currently live to this day); we moved there and it was nice. I then went to North Warren Regional High School to attend regular classes and got excellent grades and was ready to graduate. After graduating from North Warren, I went to summer camp and vacationing with my Mom, and then I went to Abilities of Northwest Jersey in beautiful Washington, where I did piecework and with the help of Employment Pathways, tried some jobs that were quite successful, but I never got a real job. Hopefully, that will change in the months ahead. Despite 9/11, the passing of Abby and Nana, and minor conflicts between my dad and step mom, I continue to strive for success and love. Now that I'm 21, I can do what I want, whenever I want (unless I find a place to live in a group home) despite not drinking alcohol, smoking, or not having the ability to drive in a car but take a train or bus, which is not available in my town. What are my plans for the future? Well, I hope to find a job in the retail business, if there is one. At this time, many companies are losing money because of poor earnings and high gas prices and uncertainty over the election and terrorism around the globe except the U.S., which has been well-guarded after 9/11. I will register to vote and participate in one of the biggest elections of the 21st century, both locally and nationally. I will find a girlfriend locally that I will love, and might adopt kids that my future wife may take care of while I'm at work. I will own a mansion that's worth $1,000,000 in upstate New York in the Adirondacks, near where Grandma Kathy lives. |
