Kathy's Restaurant

Located on Route 94 in the newly built Fredon Plaza strip mall in Fredon, Sussex County, N.J., Kathy's Restaurant serves food all day long (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in a clean, quiet atmosphere that's reminscent of classic diners such as the Blairstown Diner. The seats are confortable, and the food is quite good and priced well for budget conscious people. A crew of mostly young waiters welcome you to this place and you get bread served before each meal. As always, dessert is a choice, so I preferred to go home after eating a bacon cheeseburger deluxe with fries and a diet Coke while my Dad had a bigger meal consisting of a cheesy pasta mix.

In conclusion, this restaurant rocks. Kids will dig it since they can bring crayons to color and draw stuff on the back of the placemats, which have the usual ads for local businesses, such as Sun Velocity in Blairstown where my former classmate Corin works during certain times while not in college. If you want more info, Google it on the web or look for it in your local phone book.

Coming soon: A review of another local restaurant, such as the new Elias' Restaurant at the former Lucky Lady restaurant in Knowlton, as well as the Walnut Valley Inn in Columbia.
