Billy Ray Coffey, 51, Fall Branch

            FALL BRANCH - Billy Ray Coffey, 51, 125 Fire Hall Road, died Monday
            (March 4, 2002) at Holston Valley Medical Center following an
            extended illness.
            He was employed at Fiber Inovations Technology in Johnson City.
            He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam, and was past
            Post Commander of the AmVets Post No. 14 in Xenia, Ohio.
            He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Coffey.
              
            Survivors include his wife, Debi Coffey; children, Tammy and Michael
            Way, Johnson City, Tina and Charles Gouge, Billy Ray Coffey II and
            wife Sharon, Patricia and Rex Chatman, all of Fall Branch;
            grandchildren, Cody Gouge, Dustin Gouge, Dakota Gouge, Billy Ray
            Coffey III, Aden Coffey and Makayla Way; mother, Reba Coffey, Fall
            Branch; brothers, Ron Coffey, Fall Branch, and Jimmy Coffey,
            Pasadena Tex.; sisters, Darlene Sampson, Fall Branch, and Kathy
            Gibson, Sumter, S.C.; and close friend, Curtis Bledsoe, Fall Branch.

            Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Fall Branch
            Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.
