!!! Warning !!!

DISPLAY is a 32-bit protected mode application, thus more restrictions are
imposed on this program than on traditional 16-bit applications.
I can't guarantee that this program will run well on your machine.
So use it at your own risk. :-(

1. Hardware Requirements
========================

  PC 386 or better. MSDOS 3.3 or higher.
  I recommend a minimum of 4Mb for better performance.
  Hard disk for swapping (virtual memory).
  VESA BIOS support.

2 Unpack package
================

  There are subdirectories in this package.
  If you use PKUNZIP to unpack this package, make sure that you add the
    '-d' switch.

3 Installation
==============

  ***** Important *****

  If you have DISPLAY older than version 1.90, please backup it and delete it
  from your disk. This program doesn't need go32.exe anymore, so if you don't
  have other program that needs go32.exe, delete go32.exe.

  *********************

  1.
    Starting from 1.90, Display supports VESA video standard only. So
    your video card must support it. If you are not sure whether your video
    card suppots VESA, run "vesainfo" first. Most video cards come with their
    own utilitiy disks which contain the TSR-based VESA BIOS program, so you
    can run this program if your video card doesn't have VESA BIOS support in
    ROM. If, unfortunately, your video card is too old or you have lost the
    disks, get 'Universal VESA BIOS Extension' from ftp.scitechsoft.com.

  2. Change Resources/Parameters:

    Please use a text editor to modify the configuration file, CONFIG.DIS.
    You MUST change the SYSTEM section at least.

  3. Run:

    Please read DISPLAY.FAQ first.
    Just type "display" to run this program.
