Our Ladies ...
We have lost a few very special females through the years and we hate to leave them out.  They will forever be in our hearts.
We currently have 4 breeding females.  We have two blacks, Darcy and Hottie, one yellow, Dare, and one chocolate, Mudd.  We still have Sunny, who is very health and energic but she is past the breeding age and we gracefully allow her to retire.  Click the picture of each female to view their pedigrees.
Labradougherty's Mudd In Your Eye
Mudd originally came from Canada and was CKC registered.  We transfered her over to AKC.  She has a beautiful dark coat from  black and  choclate parents.  She has a phenominal pedigree, a great deal of stamina and she is very intelligent and loving.  Mudd loves to retrieve and swim and is a great family dog. Last bred 8/14/07
Labradougherty's Daredevil
Dare is a beautiful light colored yellow lab, almost white.  At 3 years old, she is very energetic.  She is the daughter of Hawkey's Viking and she is very bright. She has been a wonderful addition to our family.  We plan to bred Dare this August to "Tiger", who has been a great producer of FC-AFC dogs. Last bred 8/15/07
Way - Da - Go- Darcy
Darcy is a wonderful hunter and a great family pet.  She weighs between 65 and 70 pounds.  She has a nice coat on her and she is a great retriever.  She has had 2 litter, the first in 2005 and the second the following year.  Her puppies all seem to be doing well in hunting capabilities and obedience.
I am working on getting Hotties picture and pedigree on the web soon.  Keep checking back!
Brokenstraws Yellow Alex
Candlewood's Lean Maxxine
Both dogs were wonderful and brought us great joy but it is to Alex that I dedicate this page because she was our first lab.  Alex was a family member and a hunting companion.  She was there when our children learned to walk, when they went to school, and most importantly, when they came home.  Alex went out of her way to please everyone - even the cat!  Maxxine, too, was a great loss.  She did not have a long life but she had two beautiful litters of puppies that we get to see occassionally.  Girls, we will always miss you!
