Data Tennis Data Tennis is the style of tennis in which a player gathers data from his opponents and himself to predict what and when the tennis player will do next/ where the ball will go next. In this way, the player has the ability to see the others' weaknesses and predict if certain shots will be successful. Inui and his childhood friend, Yanagi Rengi conceived this style of tennis.

Personality Sadaharu Inui is the brains behind the Seigaku team in the anime, Prince of Tennis. He is the one that decides all of the training menus and what the team does next to improve. He seems to be incredibly intelligent; having the ability to take data at a moment's notice and manipulate other players to his advantage in matches.
Trivia
Inui Juice There is a running joke throughout the anime about Inui's juice. Inui does much juice experimentation which is considered very disgusting by his fellow teammates, but is supposedly very healthful. He calls it his "Penal Tea" (penality) drink. However, it strangely has no effect on Fuji.
Inui's Eyes The other running joke is Inui's eyes. In the anime and manga, his eyes are never shown, for his glasses are constantly being glinted off of. However, in an episode where Fuji has a match with Inui, his glasses get broken and so you can see his right eye. The only other time is in a special OAV and in some pictures.
