The Rasmus  is Laurie, Pauli, Aki and Eero. This band from Finland released their first single when they were only 16 years old. They were originally signed to Warner Bros., putting out three albums in three years, going gold and touring all over Finland. Now signed to Playground Music Scandinavia, Dead Letters is the first album to reach the U.S. 
*FYI : The name "Rasmus" comes from the word "trashmosh". They have been confused with the Swedish DJ Rasmus, so they added a definite article.

I first head of The Rasmus through a department store music preview video. (You know those tv's in the Electronics Department playing snippets of videos of "upcoming artists".) I wrote the band name down and bought Dead Letters that same day.
