Grand Canyon Rim to Rim 2001
On the South Kaibab... We can see glimpses of the Colorado river from here.  The black Kaibab suspension bridge is also visible on the right. The last stretch to the bottom is treacherous.
Almost at the bottom. You can see the Colorado river and the Bright Angel creek. The Colorado river is very wide. It only seems narrow from the rims. We camped near the creek.
This is the rainbow fall on out way to North Rim. Imagine finding this place after hiking 4+ hours in 100+ heat. Never felt better..lingered for few hours here..
This was the camp site for the 2nd night at on our way to North Rim. There only 3-4 tents. With critters chirping all night, it was pretty eerie.
This another view of Rainbow Falls from the far. The North Rim is visible in the back.
Almost at the North Rim.
A no-name fall on the North Kaibab Trail. North Rim has a lot of water. In fact, there is pipeline from the North Rim to South Rim to supply all water to the South Rim.
