1. Introduction: If you are having trouble beginning your letter, use the format below as your first paragraph:

 

Dear ________________,   The book I am reading is ____________________ by _______________. It is about __________________________________. ____________________________________________________________ (2 sentences about your book)

 

2. -Choose 3 items to answer or talk about from your Reader’s Notebook (Possible Topics for Your Letters)

-Write one solid paragraph on each of the 3 items item (4 or more sentences…..3 paragraphs)

3. As you write and when you are finished writing, check your letter against the rubric (WOW).
