Again And Again

" You didn't tell Michael I tried to shoot him dead." James sent her another instant message.

Crystal sighed. She felt glad she was having this conversation on the Internet instead of face to face.

 " Yeah. I didn't tell him, James. I didn't." She typed.

 " You know I want him dead. Do you want him dead? Does he make you happy???"

Crystal was admediately about to type "No, I don't want him dead" but she hesitated. Michael really had hurt her and took advantage of her. She bit her bottom lip as she stared at the screen. Rage wasn't going to get the best of her. She wasn't anything like James.

 " No I don't want him dead." She finally sent. " James, let it go. Don't get mad at Michael." There was a pause.

 " Oh no. Don't think I'm just trying to get Michael, you slut. You will have your share soon. Very soon."

James suddenly logged out.

~~~The next day~~~
 "Jermaine, NO! Don't talk to me! I don't want to hear your mouth!" Michael shouted, storming into the living room with Jermaine close behind. The whole Jackson family was in the beautiful, tropical themed, living room waiting for both Jermaine and Michael to come down the stairs at Hayvenhurst. Not only had they both slept late, but also they were arguing for almost an hour about who-knows-what.
 "I can't believe his bodyguard brought him here," Tito said, referring to Michael. He gave a grin at Marlon. Marlon rolled his eyes and smiled. Michael sat down with the family on one of the couches. His arms were crossed and his face was red. He wore black jeans and a jungle green, silky top.
 "Michael," Jermaine said, standing over Michael. "That was MY seat."
Michael looked around to find that there were no more seats left. He then looked up at Jermaine, noticing his plain, tan colored shirt.
 "Well who was here first?" Michael said.
 "Michael don't play with me. Get up. I was about to sit there."
 "Please Jermaine, you ain't too rich to stand for a minute." Michael said cutting his eyes at him.
 "Oh god! Could you guys be any more childish?!" Rebbie shouted.
Michael and Jermaine gazed at her. Michael and Jermaine gazed at her.
 "Jermaine there is a chair in the freakin kitchen if you feel that mighty that you can't stand for ONE minute while mother talks." Rebbie said in an irritated voice. Jermaine took a deep breath and sat on the arm of the couch. Kathrine just shook her head. Joesph snickered.
 "You all act more dysfunctional than what the press makes us out to be." Joe said.
Kathrine smiled. Her smile disappeared quickly.
 "Umm...about Janet..." She paused. Her beautiful round eyes became full of hurt. "Since we couldn't go see her yesterday, we'll be going to the hospital today. The doctor said her condition isn't getting any better, she is in critical condition still."
Some of the brothers let out a heavy sigh.
 "She's had multiple serious injuries, but last night the doctor said that she is going to live."
Another heavy sigh from the family. Kathrine nodded to Joesph across from her.
 "Alright. Everyone lets get going." Joesph said.
Everyone stood. When the family headed out to the circle drive where the limos awaited, Jermaine came up to Michael and whispered, "Hey, ya look a little pale, bro..."
When Michael looked at him, Jermaine smiled and winked as he got into the limo.
~~~~~~~

Crystal watched the news in the living room. It was coverage at the hospital Janet was staying in.

 "The Jackson Family is expected to arrive here any minute and-- oh! here they are..." The live reporter said. "They're coming in style with 2 stretch limos. Maybe I can catch Mr. Michael Jackson and ask him a few questions."

But the family hurried in the hospital without taking any questions from anyone.

 "uhh seems like this wasn't the right time for questions, but we will bring you the latest updates as we get them. Live at Santa Ynez Hospital, Kevin Lyder."

Crystal turned off the news.

 "This is a rough time for Michael." Jeff said.

Crystal jumped at Jeff's sudden appearance.

 "Uh yeah. It is."

 "he really needs you kiddo." Jeff told her seriously.

 "You are mistaken."

 "No I'm not." Jeff showed her a piece of paper. It had Michael's handwriting on it. "It's a soon-to-be press release about Sony and Tommy Matolla. I saw it on his desk."

Crystal looked at it.

 "I don't think MJ would have the guts to lash out against Sony without you. Don't you agree?"

Crystal sighed. "Jeff, he kissed her. And he meant it. I saw it with my own two eyes. He used me."

Jeff sighed at sat down next to her on the couch.

 "Let me break it down. Michael has been hit many times and pretty bad. He's been hit so many times that, it's made him vulnerable. And Lisa, she can persuade anyone to do whatever she wants if she wants it bad enough. Now I'm not going to say Michael doesn't have feelings for Lisa. But I will say that he has more feelings for you. And I can see it in his eyes everytime he is around you. Every time I mention your name. He needs you. Especially now."

 "Jeff that's sweet and all but, I can't believe that. I've been hurt a lot too, and Michael is too much of a risk. A risk I can't bare to take." Crystal said, honestly.

~~~~~~~
 "Michael, you sound better when you say nothing at all. So shut up." Jermaine snapped on the elevator of the hospital. The whole family rolled their eyes or sighed at Michael and Jermaine's petty arguing.
 "You're the one that talks to much. You learn more when you listen." Michael said softly looking up at the escalating numbers over the elevator door.  "Yeah, speak for yourself. How many people told you to stop wearing that ugly make up you got on? Like looking more like Marilan Manson everyday?"
 "Jermaine!" Tito hissed.
 "Jermaine, Just be quiet." Jackie said annoyed. They reached their floor. They met with Janet's doctor right when they stepped out of the elevator.
 "Hello, Jacksons." Dr. Ratchel said pleasantly. The 10-member family said their "hello"s and nodded respectively.  "I've got some... disappointing news." The family was silent. They waited for him to continue.
 "Janet had a very bad spinal injury when the plane crashed. From the waist down, her body isn't active."
Michael gasped loudly. The family turned around a second to him them back at the doctor. They hadn't quite realized what he was saying.
 "What I'm saying is, that Janet might be paralyzed from the waist down." the doctor explained.
